The Fishing Report
(Updated 2-2-12)
Happy Groundhogs Day.  Looks like Phil saw
his shadow again, claiming 6 more weeks of
winter!  I'm not so sure it matters either way with the
Winter or lack thereof we have been experiencing
this year.  Outside of only a couple of periods of
slightly colder than normal temps and minimal
snowfall,  it has been an extended Fall Steelhead
Season around here.  In fact, it has been such a
mild winter, some of the fish have started thinking
about getting their business started.  I have seen
more than a couple gravels that have been worked
up a little the last couple of weeks.  Even the Robins
have made an appearance this last week.  Eggs
are always a popular choice, while some smaller
nymphs have been working as well.  The swing
thing will still bring a fish to the net as well.  All
methods have been productive.
